Attached Staff
The Practice is supported by NHS Lanarkshire employed teams such as Public Health Nurses, Community Nurses, Treatment Room Nurses, Midwife, Physiotherapist, Dietician and Podiatrist. We also have the following NHS Lanarkshire team members allocated to our team:

Community Link Workers
A Community Link Worker can help you find services, organisations, groups, and activities that may help your health and wellbeing. They can offer a series of meetings and are able to chat about anything that is non-medical such as housing, money worries or family life.
Community Link Workers use social prescribing to help you have more control over your life and the things that matter to you. They are based in GP Surgeries and have good connections with local services and resources.
Anyone aged 18 or over can be seen by our Community Link Worker.
Ms Rachel Simpson (f)

General Practice Community Pharmacists
Health board pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are becoming more involved in the care of patients in General Practice. Having the pharmacy team working in our surgery provides valuable medicines support, a close link with our community pharmacy teams and allows our GPs to focus their skills and time where they are most needed for patients who have more complex needs. Pharmacists are experts in medicines and can talk to you about how to get the best from your medicines.
