St Andrew’s Dementia Hub

The Dementia Hub at St Andrew's ("The Hub") offers support for the whole family - at any stage and at times of bereavement. Anyone with memory issues is welcome to attend with or without a diagnosis. Carers and wider family members are always welcome too. The Hub is supported by the Community Mental Health Team for older people. An active team of volunteers offers support three times every week. There is no charge for the support provided.

Living well with Dementia

Dementia can affect all aspects of a person's life, as well as their family's. If you have been diagnosed with dementia, or you are caring for someone with the condition, remember that there is advice and support available to help you live well.

Future care planning

If you have a long term health condition, making a future care plan can help you get back in control over what's important to you. Future care planning means that health and care practitioners work with people and their carers to ensure that the right thing is done at the right time by the right person.
