Public Holidays and other dates when the surgery is closed

The Practice will be closed on the following days:

  • Protected Learning Time – 2pm – 6pm – 18th March 2026
  • Good Friday – 3rd April 2026
  • Easter Monday – 6th April 2026
  • Early May – 4th May 2026
  • Spring holiday – 25th May 2026
  • Summer holiday – 20th July 2026
  • Protected Learning Time – 2pm – 6pm – 29th July 2026
  • Autumn holiday – 28th September 2026
  • Protected Learning Time – 2pm – 6pm – 4th November 2026
  • Christmas Day – 25th December 2026
  • Boxing Day – 28th December 2026
  • New Year – 1st and 4th January 2027

Non-urgent advice: Order your medication in sufficient time

Remember medication requests take 3-4 working days, please make sure that you order any repeat medication in sufficient time to allow the prescription to be processed and ready at the pharmacy.

Need to see a doctor? NHS 111 can help

If you need to see a doctor but can’t get to your local practice you may be able to be seen outside of normal practice hours.

Call 111 and if appropriate, the advisor will be able to schedule you an appointment with a GP – it may not be your usual one –  at a local venue. If you could be better treated elsewhere, they will be able to direct you to the best place to suit your needs. 111 is free to call at all times.

Experiencing a mental health problem?

If you are affected by a mental health issues over the bank holidays and are not already known to local mental health services, call 111. If you are a service user already, you can access services via your Community Mental Health Team or the out of hours GP service.

Emergency care
